Name one good thing about your day so far #2

My boss came back and she did not call me up to the office to write me up.

My harp teacher delivered my harp to me, so I now have it at St. Clare's.

It's nearly over. Looking forward to a shower and a good book.

I took my sons to a waterpark. It was fun! Last day of summer hurrah for us! Back to school tomorrow and then I get students on Thursday. And hopefully one more good thing about my day will be that I go to bed early. Hopefully....

I did some laundry. I will now be able to look somewhat presentable at the office for the next few days.

I shared a pitcher of Odell's 90 Shilling with a couple of friends I hadn't seen since last Christmas. I never realize how much I miss them until I see them and we pick up like no time has passed.

And... speaking of shillings, I found a Wheat Penny at the gas station on my way home!

one of the managers made a sweet compliment to me-- she said that she thought I lost weight- of course I am me and this lady and I have talked amongst different things besides work, and I was honest with her of I don't feel like at all--and made a joke about how sometimes I am really well with hiding my weight with my clothes some how-- she then said then the outfit is really nice and hides it well
I know that may sound odd to some-- but it was nice..

I do find it funny though that when people think I have lost weight--I actually feel as if I have put on a ton ... and when I do lose weight it seems like no one really notices... maybe they are all just being nice--- and I need to take that into factor- if they are being nice to me, and see a difference like that-- that would mean in some way they do like me (right?)

I got a phone call from a friend.

I had a good knitting class tonight and started working on a skirt.

I found some really beautiful bird feathers-------------------as I were picking up dog poo, seriously!

Finally got to see P-doc, started me on gabapentin and fluxoxetine.I hope this stuff works I need a break from myself...LOL

Tummy feels more stable this morning.

So happy for cooler, sunny weather this morning and for today.

We are getting some rain.

Got a call from my bankruptcy advisor and she's at least making progress with my bank on getting my funds unlocked. It's slow but it's progress.

Going outside for a little while to get some sunshine.

Well...I got to drive my car today. I love driving, music is so much better in the car than in the house. I don't know why, though. It seems fuller and it makes me more emotional if I'm listening to a sad song.

I had a good T session today and I got to buy some dark chocolate covered ginger slices from the candy shop I have to walk past on the way home from T. $20/lb, but so worth it! I bought two pieces for $2.
