Neither of my houses were damaged and the power was turned back on today. I hope everyone who was hit by Sandy is okay.

Hurricane Sandy is gone, its calm and nice outside. Im so grateful and convinced something looked out for me and my family.
My home and my neighborhood was spared and I didnt lose power either!

I got a 97% on my Calculus Test after having a lot of trouble with it. I can't believe I can actually be that good at math.

It's my birthday
Not only that, but today has been great! My brother called to wish me a happy birthday, I've gotten calls and texts from various friends and family members, a million "happy birthday" posts on Facebook, and, my housemate got me a super cute birthday card! I came home from class and saw it sitting on the counter!I know that was like a million and one good things, but it's all tied into one. |

One more thing: My friend got me a surprise present! Just something little -- a couple balloons and some candy, but it made me feel so special!!! <3

My headcold does not seem to be getting any worse. Just a few aches and a few sniffles. Yay. That is big for me; they usually, almost always, turn into sinus infections.
I might get to skip that thrill for once. |

First thing, I turned the computer on and signed in to PC. 2nd thing I found a good suitcase at Goodwill to use for the hospital and rehab on the 12th.
