Pfrog---very cool! I would collect native artwork and esp. things like fetishes and Kachinas, if I lived in the Southwest; I definitely would.

Nice Tim, if I had time I'd be doing that too, especially with some SNES games.

apparently, I collect earrings...the costume kind of earrings from trend stores. I have earrings with big black satin bows, earrings with long strands of different colours of wooden tubes on the strands, earrings that look like small bunches of grapes, a total of 72 pairs last count.

i used to carry a nice collection of japanese comics - those called manga, but i stopped buying new volumes since october last year because i needed to save money. i've collected a nice amount of cds and vynils, specially of the rolling stones (and beatles only in vynil)... i always thought when i move and have some more space, i'll have a cooler collection, of something more unique, maybe something i dont really need to be able to afford but that i can actually collect and go to try and find more of it, i'll eventually find something haha
Thanks for this!

I collect Bottle Caps, ammo, guns, Bobbleheads... s**t, sorry, that's Fallout 3.

I collect things that might be worth summat one day.
I collect personal stuff, like body hair, limbs, brains... the usual. (sick joke)

OK, the 'things that might be worth summat' was real.

NOTE: I Really don't collect body parts... anymore.

Dust.

LOL... no really.... seashells, rocks, stones, butterflies, sunflowers, books, and DVD's of tv shows I really like.

Wow- I am really not very girly-girl at all, but I look at this list and perhaps I am a bit more so than I realized.

As a matter of fact I have a woman's spine hanging in my garage.

It belonged to my BF who is now dead. His grandfather was a chiropractor and I don't know where he got it but he gave it to my BF before he died. Now what am I supposed to do with it? I didn't really intend to collect human bones but I have no idea where her family is.

That's sweet, Rose. I think you should display them! Maybe in a curio cabinet!

Yes, old jukeboxes would be great to collect, but the working ones are very pricey!

The most thing I've collected is rocks...traveling to remote destinations on the Great Lakes to pick up interesting shapes that "speak" to me, for my art on rocks.
For just pure wackiness, I've collected miniature (tiny) figurines...of cartoon characters, monsters, aliens, gargoyles, wizards, etc. My most prized one is of Marvin Martian and his dog K-9. (I got into a bidding war on Ebay for that one!)
I call them my "littles," and display them at school on top of my computer tower on my desk! Students bring me more, mostly from the vending machines where they are $0.25!
Thanks for this!

Big smiles, Seeker. I think your artrock is beautiful.

Collecting things is fun. I always seem to get along with people who collect stuff.

I'm lucky...husband collects, too. Little PVC figures and vintage plastic toys, mostly...plus, gemstones and minerals, and sci-fi books. He even got me gorgeous little silk-covered Chinese lantern today. So neat!

We're definitely gonna need a bigger house. And maybe a barn....

Stamps! I began collecting (used) stamps when I was 8 years old! Then they were .29 cents each and I would write down who the letter was from for a fond reminder! I wish people still wrote hard-copy letters to each-other, or at least more often. It sure is nice to get a hand written letter from a good friend or relative Sincerely, Glinda Gail

I used to be a collector--all sorts of things over the years--rocks, stamps, all sorts of old bottles. I do have a collection of antique irons and coffee grinders. Now I just seem to collect dust......

I'm glad to see so many people collecting things. Antique radios are fun to collect.
I have some that are bakelite material. I also have some that are wood. I like those the best because they all have a story to tell. I can imagine some kids laying around on the floor ready for the radio show to begin. That was before tv. I love that. Things have changed.

I collect :
1. Elephant figurines-- have always loved the elephant since I went to circus world when I was a kid.
2. monkeys- Started collecting these when my best guy friend nicknamed me monkey in highschool(embarrassing reasons)
3. Angels- I have collected angels since my mother died when I was 13. Have had several whole sets stolen from me. Then have to start over.

I like collecting Precious Moments, but it's expensive, lol. I also can't resist buying anything that's angels, fairies, or birds. Apparently all my favorite things have wings. Maybe if I bought Red Bull I'd feel better about myself, lol.
