I am a male with really poofy goofy long hair and I need help! I have tried straightening it but I don't like that you-obviously-straightened-it look. Any shampoos that can just de-flate hair and get ride of frizz? The frizz on my head is out of control. I also have bad dandruff, so maybe something that tackles both? Thanks!

Hi Rolan. I don't know about straightening shampoo, but I use a tiny bit of coconut oil on hair and scalp to control frizz and dandruff. (before or after shampoo works)
Another thing, try to find shampoo without sulfates, as these additives are too harsh for hair, and scalp issues. Unrefined coconut oil is great for body care and is delicious on toast or stirred into hot tea. Embrace your curls, Rolan! ![]() |

Hi Rolan, a good hairstylist can straiten your hair without it looking like it has been.
If you dont want to go that route, the shampoo usually doesn't do much for the hair but clean it. I would chose a dandruff shampoo and then buy a serum that you put in afterward to calm the frizz down. All the company's make them. Theirs also all kinds of products to put in the hair after its dry also. To just spray it on dry hair and it calms it down and tames it, I would use both. Hope it helps.

Try "Bed-Head" shampoo; blow dry tightly with a brush and use a narrow curling iron
(if you have one), or marcel irons, and iron down sections.
