Thanks everyone and Happy Thanksgiving. I'm going to be trully well fed tomorrow. I'm going out for lunch with friends, and then St. Clare's which is the residence I'm in is putting on a traditional Turkey dinner - complete to pumpkin pie. Yummy.

Thank you, everybody. I am taking it lightly this year. I brought home turkey and stuffing from the deli I work at and made a small meal for one of my sons and I. The other son is out of town this weekend. This year, I guess I am thankful for friends here on PC, new friends at my new job...they all seem very nice. I give many thanks for my family even though we are spread apart this year.

Argh…Thanksgiving…family dinner. Nothing like a family that will so open and honestly say to you that we all hate each other coming together in a single room…and this is why I hate the holidays . When I can start a job driving trucks, I hope I will be able to use that as an excuse not to attend these kinds of dinners.

I know some folks don't like such holidays, but to those who do up there in the North, Happy Thanksgiving! I think the U.S. should consider moving ours to Oct., so it won't be so close to Christmas.
Thanks for this!

I simply like that fact that it brings attention to us to consider what we might be thankful for in life. If life is tough and we cannot think of any at this time...that is fine too....we all have bad times too. I still think its purpose is a good one. It doesn't have to come with family and big dinners. I gave thanks to my sons for being with me all of these years.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for posting this, actually I needed this right now. Happy thanksgiving to all my fellow canadians.

Im am having a rough time right now, and a rough thanksgiving with my family who is visiting, but this just reminded me how much I do have to be thankful for. I was just sitting here feeling well... Pretty darn bad, but I do have good stuff too.
