Is there actually hope??? A little bit??? Could it be that things might actually turn around for us, finally?
I applied online for a job at Toys'R'Us earlier, fulltime, and half an hour later they called (!) and invited me to an interview tomorrow morning! I am sooo nervous! I'm especially worried about my scars, and especially the fresh ones, they are huge and go all the way to my hands, so it's going to be hard to hide them. I so hope I get this job. We so desperately need it.

Well, it's over, and now I can't do anything but wait. Nervewracking!! I think I did really well, but who knows. I'm sitting here replaying the whole interview over and over, wondering if I messed up this or that.
It was a block interview, and there were five of us, myself, another girl, and three guys. Only the other girl and myself made it to the second phase of the interview. None of the guys made it. Now I have to wait, she said she'll either call or email me either by the end of today, or the end of the week. There is one more phase to the hiring process, a 6 hour training. So if I get picked for that, then after those 6 hours they'll decide if they keep me or not. I really wish this was over already. And I got the job.

I got the job!!!!! Tomorrow is orientation. I don't know if I should be happy or scared.

Felicidades, Salud, Mazel Tov, and of course, Congratulations whenwillitend! I am glad you posted about the hope that exists. Sometimes it is hard for us to remember to hold onto even a sliver of hope. I am very happy for you my friend. I hope your interview is a smash hit and you are at home in your new workplace.   That is AWESOME NEWS!!!!!! And I envy where you're working; I've always wanted to work at Toys R Us, it seems like it'd be such a fun job. You are a bright shining example to those of us who have lost hope or are looking for the hope we once had.  Congrats, we're so proud of you!!!
