Found a Toys for Tots donation place still open. Next year will do this earlier.

I'm home. I'm warm enough. I have eaten today. I have companionship (or servitude, depending on your view of cats). I have a job, but I have today off. I don't have to go anywhere or do anything at the moment. I send you love.

Back at work with nice hours, and found out I got a 3.6 GPA this semester.
 4 A's and 2 B's.

With everything that has happened and my grades falling as result, I finally figured out other plans if I cannot continue in my school program the final next semester, just in case. It is reassuring to know there are options and has helped relieve some of the stress. Will keep plugging away meanwhile and hoping for the best.

I just had a co-worker that I chat with once in a while to over the years,
come up and tell me to be careful today while going home.... Well no first, he asked if I was taking the buses today (as I do with snow) and was coming to tell me to be sure to be bundled up- but when i said I drove to work today, he mentioned to be careful with the snow- some slip spots and some blowing snow.... It is nice, he knows my issues with the snow and accident i had, -- very considerate of him to be kind, and this in the mist of all the chaos that has been going on at work lately. I just find it nice--- getting all warm and fuzzy right now...

happy birthday nikole!!!
today I am thankful for it to be the day I FINELY go back to the crazy office! Also my daughter says to tell you all "I'm thankful its a snow day and we have a delay" also, my ex rolled his truck the other day with his 2 young nephews in it, and the truck it totaled but everyone is doing well. I am glad they are well.. |
