I voted for "Other" because I do a lot of political activism with a combination of writing, blogging, and research.

Once upon a time I spent most of my time here but then when I enrolled in college I had less time and energy to do much online. Now I spend most of my online time on Facebook because I have reconnected with many of my childhood friends and like to chat with them and am trying to get back to being here more.

Also if something breaks in my house I look up videos on how to fix it, I love all the information available online.

ADD thing is it? I can see that. I can cover a lot of ground in an hour...my history is a chuckle to view sometimes. Dozens of sites...Wiki is problematic...I veer off so easily...tabs aplenty...So much out there...so little time! I'm with you miswimmy!

I spend a lot of time in general online for a whole variety of reasons and this poll has reminded me I spend too much time online period. I see a New Year's resolution forming.

I've been on PC often lately, and one other forum. I'm also on Amazon often, because I've bought myself a kindle and I like browsing through bestsellers (mostly those that are for free).

Shattered_Sanity, I'm not trying to be rude, but I want to share a chuckle you gave me. You said since you've learned to do "poles," you've been fascinated by them. I know you mean "polls," but you put in my head the image of you (and I don't even know what you look like) on a stripper pole.

I chose "social networking," but really, the answer is several of those. I research all the time, and wish I could be on the computer 24/7 sometimes to research and collect all the cool stuff I like. But then there would be no time to read it all, would there? I chat here and on Facebook mostly. I also check my email. If I have money to spare, I may shop. I love to shop, and only wish I had more money to do it with. I could spend all my time online shopping!
