Night,
When the sun starts to set, it's automatic a sense of calmness sets in.
I even love to garden in the night.
I also love pre dawntime, before the world wakes up.
I cant explain why. Well maybe I could but that would make for a much longer post.

I'm an early morning person. I always feel best during the first few hours of the day.

I am an early morning person traditionally, but now my body's sleeping patterns are all over the place and I am working night shifts for my job. My sleeping is forced during the day with meds now.

I have always preferred the night to the daytime. The only thing is my schizo symptoms like to come out and play at night more as well, but I am used to that. I do my best reading and painting at night.

I'm a night person. Not necessarily extreme late night, but I like being awake when everyone is asleep and everything is quiet. I use that time alone to unwind from the day.

I'm with Happydasiy, I love the night, from the time evening sets in, right through to pre-dawn, I even like the first hour or two of the morning. As Shattered says, the quietness maybe? The fact that the rest of the world's asleep and it's all calm, but also knowing there are other night people around so actually I feel less alone at night than during the day. Bit weird really.

Also around about 2 or 2.30 in the afternoon I suddenly fold - get really tired and down and the day itself feels all tired and used up and dusty. Then by early evening I (and the day) seem to pick up again - anyone else find this?

I enjoy the nights, very late nights, the best, but that's also when my emotions are usually all over the place the most and it's kept me up many nights.

The hardest thing I do...ever...is get up at 5:30 a.m. each day to get ready for work! I'm definitely a "night" person!

I would say I prefer night, but I am a "day" person currently because that is what my Bipolar schedule is right now. My husband gets up for work each day at 5 and he goes to sleep about 10 so I am in that routine. On the weekend I can stay up a bit later and sometimes I wake up a bit later, but I'm also getting up at 7:30 in the morning on weekends a lot of the time. Oh well, we are often taught to take to a routine in Bipolar, it's for the best, so at least I can say it keeps me level!

I'm a night person as well. I always have been. It works against me sometimes (like with appointments!), but I haven't ever been a morning person & doubt that I ever could be.

I'm nocturnal. I hold a firm belief that if nature meant for us to be in the sun it wouldn't burn us hehehe

I'm a night person, which most people around me don't like. People get annoyed with me because I'm not always up to do stuff for them, but I can't help it. I get more stuff done when I'm up into the wee hours and sleep until mid- or even late afternoon. That's the real problem--I usually sleep around 10-14 hours. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it when I see her on the 27th. But I've been like that for years. Probably my meds. I have a hard time getting out of bed, especially knowing I have to get dressed, brush my teeth and do all those things one does. I'd rather get up and just go to the living room and start flipping channels. It's hard to leave a warm, cozy bed, though. I like to get on the computer or read a book in the late hours. When in bed, I don't have to deal so much with my OCD, either.

I am night person, but sleep cycle messes if I stay a night person too long.
