My cat taking a nap on the futon with me, and hogging a third of it when he rolled over on his back and made himself comfy

Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side

The bird appreciated the heat. He quietened and stopped complaining to sit more closely to the heat.

After explaining the situation with remotes and other electronic devices to another person. For example, I will be called to correct any problems related to the remote not allowing any entertainment on the tv.

I let my granddaughter sleep in my bed - she's a co-sleeper with my daughter. . .
I'm old school - my kids slept in their own beds, even if there was crying. . . that's just how we did it
But I gave it a try Saturday night - and I was amazed and tickled by how much room an 18 month old can take up in a CA King size bed with just her gigi. It made giggle - I almost used my cell phone to take a picture of her laying horizontally on my pillow - but then I had a moment of clarity and didn't want to wake her - so I put it away.
Around 7 a.m. she wakes up and starts talking and sitting up - but she's pretty patient, and I would really like a few more minutes of sleep so I keep quiet. . . and after a while - she falls back asleep. I get up around 9 - make some coffee and sit on the bed and just watch her and about halfway through the coffee cup she wakes up. All is forgiven, she is just so cute!
But she's not sleeping with me again. That was a lot of work. . But she makes me smile still!

My girl kitty, when she jumped up next to me by the computer and checked-in for some knuckleheads (gentle knuckle rubs around her jaw and the top of her head; she loves that!).

They insist cats and dogs don't smile---but I'd swear, they do.
