In a world where bananas and cake come together I cannot say no.
Thanks for this!

Our Bible study group just had the most awesome waffle dinner the other night.....I took my flip waffle iron & brought the batter mixes. One person made plain waffles & ground up pecans for in it. I made plain Belgian waffles to start, then made the pumpkin batter & put the rest of the ground pecans in that.....hands down, the hit of the night was the pumpkin waffles with the pecans.

Of course I brought pure maple syrup....nothing less. We also had sliced apples, apple sauce, & jam. We would have had the pumpkin butter, but after I opened it I realized that it was not fresh....hadn't used it in a long time & just stuck it in my refrig.

Of course, along with the waffles we had scrambles eggs & biscuit & gravey....definitely a feast fit for a king.

I think it is against the law there, actually.

"McDonalds Takes Heat For Violating Vermont's Strict Maple Syrup Laws" - http://recipes.howstuffworks.com/mcd...syrup-laws.htm - " "It is illegal to use the word maple on a product unless the sweetener is 100 percent pure maple. Artificial maple flavoring should be clearly and conspicuously labeled on the principal panel with the term 'artificial flavor'.""
Thanks for this!

I would do well in Vermont.....I don't eat anything but the pure maple syrup......had to laugh because many at church don't care whether they have the pure or not....I bought a bottle of the pure....just the WalMart brand.....3/4 of the bottle was gone after our Breakfast dinner the other night.....everyone really wanted the pure stuff when it was available...lol.

Re: Maple Syrup
I have found that I don't need as much of the pure stuff as with the fake. So that helps with the cost. Also, Sam's Club sells it by the quart.

I'll bet the real stuff has trace minerals that we need.
