I am posting this in the social forum because I don't know if it's good advice for people who may be suffering from mental problems, so take it with a grain of salt. A fresh perspective nonetheless.

I don't know, it's not like he's telling me anything I don't already know, it's just that he's saying it.
Thanks for this!

I thought that was an onion article lol.

The only way I can see those points making a lick of sense is if he only talked about breaking into a career. Then I could agree with a lot of those points... But using those points to make it in relationships is going to leave you running around like all the other fake people that eat, sleep, walk and talk like everyone tells them to. I have to pass on that one.

Why do you say that? Really the only message is to contribute to other people and not expect to be liked just for your personality.

I don't know. I got the vibe that he said personality didn't matter at all. Ok maybe I misread.

My personal philosophy is to never stop growing, evolving, learning and serving my fellow creatures i share the planet with. i found the article thought provoking, motivating and fascinating but i disagree with the premise that people are their jobs or their self worth comes from what they can produce. Agape love
Is unconditional love that supports people and helps them grow and thrive.

I enjoyed it, isn't that the point of writing at Cracked? I'm not male, 20, or a nerd but it was still funny as h%$$. They always have kernels of truth they just like to put them in ways that usually shock the proper folk.
