Hi,

I have a cyberfriend, at least that is what he wants to think he is sometimes,,,it's really much more, but I'm flexible.

Anyway, I don't spend much time online and have never met a man thereso how long is reasonable amount of time to wait to meet?

He is local

Really local....

Thanks

Awww, Shlump, that is nice. Has he asked you out yet for a coffee or to hang out? I would wait for him to ask you.

If you do accept to meet him, please use extreme caution.

- Meet in a public place
- Give all of your info to a friend and make a plan
- Make it a short first meeting
- Have a great time

Please keep us posted and let us know how it goes!

Thank you

I will wait

I am very good at waiting

I never grow impatient

Like the suggestions....

I will wait for him to ask me to coffee tomorrow

This made me laugh (in a good way) Like how you said you could wait forever, or at least til tomorrow

You're so cute. How could he not ask you out? Ditto what the others have said.

Hope it all works out for you. All relationships are different , including those online, move as fast as you'd like!

I agree, be careful...tell someone else where you're going and how long you'll be there.

My experiences, when I was meeting men online (no longer do so), was that they were all in a hurry to meet in person. I wanted to spend more time corresponding, not even talking on the phone (of which many insisted soon!). I say wait till you feel the desire to meet in person...and don't be pressured!

Just meet in a public place; don't be alone with him until you get to know him for real and feel he can be trusted. (At least a few meetings.) Good luck!!!

That would be up to you, how comfortable does he make you feel, do you have any reservations about him ? If so, are those something that would suggest an in person meet has any possibility of going downhill. Sometimes your intuition is your best guide.
