Auto show season continues to role on for 2013 this time from the Big Apple here are a rundown of some of cars displayed:

The New York Auto Show

Dodge Durango

Big Brawny SUVs are diminshing but not gone yet, the reworked Durango gets a new look, new interior and a very modern 8 speed Automatic gearbox to improve its gas mileage. A 290HP V6 and a 360 HP V8 are the engine choices, no word on a hotter SRT version.

The New York Auto Show

Kia "Wonder Woman" sportage. Kia continues its tribute to DC's classic Comic Books with this tricked out Sportage. This joins the Batman Optima and Superman Forte.

The New York Auto Show

Cadillac CTS

Cadillac continues its relentless assault on the holy German Trinity ( BMW, Audi, Mercedes) with this redesigned CTS. Base engine is a 272 Hp turbo 4, the middle choice a 321 Hp V6 and a brand new 420 HP Twin Turbo V6. No word yet on the High Po "V' version sure to follow next year. The car will debut GMs first 8 speed Automatic. The car also moves to a new platform which it now shares with the ATS. Interior materials are top notch with all the latest and greatest in infotainment.

The New York Auto Show

Volvo V60-Volvo a brand once synonomous with "Station Wagon" had pulled the plug on all of them last year. There is now a reconsideration of this decision as the S60 based wagon will be going on sale soon. All wheel drive will be an option for you snowbirds out there.

The New York Auto Show

2014 Honda Odyssey I did the interior shot to show you the most useful feature ever added to a minivan, a built-in vaccum cleaner, which can run 6 minutes with the car turned off. Soccer moms say thank you Honda!

The New York Auto Show

2014 Jeep Cherokee-no longer a box, Jeeps newest SUV comes back with an iconic nameplate. Reinvented as crossover to take on the likes of he RAV 4-CRV and Escape, this vehicle will launch with the worlds first 9 speed automatic transmisson, both 4 and 6 cylinder engines will be available.

The New York Auto Show

Subaru WRX Concept-to quote Monty Python "Its only a Model" Subaru, looking to shake up its stodgy image, comes with a car that previews the styling of the next gen WRX, how much of this outragious kit makes it to the real deal time will tell, but IMHO this thing looks fantastic.

The New York Auto Show

Camaro Z28- A mild refresh of the recently reborn Camaro, the formula remains the same, big engine lighter weight chasis.
Thanks for this!

Hey, thanks for sharing! Maybe, in 10 years, I'll own one of these... maybe. And then I'll say the same thing about the brand new 2023 models.

What's your favorite? I'm split between the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and the Dodge Durango, but I think I'll go with the Jeep... It reminds me of the Nissan Juke a little, but that one has good design and a tiny engine, sadly.

I think if Subaru, were to produce the WRX looking like the concept and packing north of 275HP I would run to the nearest dealer, with a deposit check in hand.
