I go to the Games section of PC and start there. I try hard to force myself to do the chores like troubleshooting old printers that do not work. I research on fantasy things that end up being just time consuming.
I try to fill my time by making a list of things to do. I set goals on what I need to do.
I may play some game on my phone.
Phone up my aunt.

Cook for myself while the bird waits for me so she can eat with me.

I read or watch TV, mostly. Or get on the computer and mostly hang out here. I want to create something--like write an article or a story, draw (and paint, except I don't have the equipment and room for that), or so something I feel will bring me closer to my life's dreams (I have more than one, and there's nothing wrong with that!)--but I don't know why I don't make it happen. Yesterday, I went to see a movie (Evil Dead) and might today, too (Jurassic Park 3D), so that's something unusual for me. I haven't gone to a movie since Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides came out. And I hadn't been to a movie for a long time before that!

I mostly watch TV. Channel hopping if I can't find something to watch. Otherwise I read books.

I go online to surf stumbleupon.com, or news websites. I watch shows that I download online...love crime shows like NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Bones. I read, usually non-fiction social, history, political or cultural books.

I spend way too much time lurking here. I may try some of these other ideas. I need to come up with things to do that don't require a whole lot of thinking. I just started and am working 13 hours today!

Go online, usually. Though I don't have much of a chance to get bored these days; my partner and I spend a lot of time watching DVD series. Right now it's Supernatural.

When summertime comes and temps get warmer and sunshine comes out, I tend to be outside more and walk more often with my mp3 player to the nearby park.

I don't really get bored, just indecisive about what to do. I go on PC, read books or magazines, watch TV or films, write or play my guitar.

If my computer is handy, I inevitably end up on buzzfeed or pinterest. I also end up researching random subcultures- from people who show ferrets to the Christian Patriarchy and Stay at Home daughter movements.

Otherwise, I clean, drive aimlessly, or read non-fiction

Although, sometimes it's a solo dance party or trashy tv kinda day...

Never heard of the "Stay at Home Daughter" movement. Looked it up. I suppose if you want to follow the Bible and that's how you interpret the Bible, it's a good thing for a girl. Being a feminist and thinking women shouldn't put themselves in the position that they need someone to care for them (because, what if the guy leaves or dies?), I'm a bit annoyed at the idea. I don't have a problem with learning knitting and sewing--in fact, I think those are great things to learn, regardless of your gender--but I am bothered by the idea that women have to be one way and men have to be another. Yet, I admit, I like the idea of being "feminine" and I like men to be "masculine." (Don't try to figure me out. I've spent decades trying, and you'll just get a headache. ) But thanks for mentioning that. I like to find out about new things, including subcultures and "bizarre" things.

Watch TV, go on the computer, strum my guitar, text friends, play sims, make poorly thought-out decisions, you know...the usual. :P
Thanks for this!
