So, earlier today I acidentally dropped my laptop. After that it was having some issues, so I turned it off, thinking that would work.I was able to turn it on with no issues but everytime this message appears "A Disk Read Error Occurred Press CTRL+ALT+DEL To Restart Computer". Did that same message keeps appering.

What does this mean? Will I be able to get all of my memory back? Could I get it fixed? Or do I need to get a new laptop?

If it is still under warranty, take it in for repairs... if not maybe someone more techy can advise you. Have you run checkdisk? you click on where it says "computer" or "This PC", right click on your hard drive, left click on properties, select tools, then select to run check disk and repair errors. It will tell you that it needs to restart to do that. Restart. It will take 1-2 hours to run but MAY or may not fix your disk read error. If that doesn't work, a tech will have to help ya.
Thanks for this!

Fox, I think that Catmom hit it right on the nail - I'm not a technological expert, but you should definitely take it in to someone who is, maybe at a BestBuy or Office Depot if you live near one. They usually don't charge unless something is seriously wrong with the computer that might take them a while to fix and you're no longer under warranty. Good luck!
