Playstation 4 revealed and priced at E3

Here it is at last boys and girls, PS4

Sony's newest machine will go on sale for $399 which is $100 less than Xbox One, and cheaper than PS3 was at launch back in 2006, oh joy! The machine will ship with a 500GB Hard Drive (most likely upgradable if Sony follows current practice) a standard HDMI connection (sorry it will not work on non hi def TVs) and USB cable

Here are a few other bits that have come out.

Unlike Xbox One, PS4 will NOT require licensing to play used games (I think this is really going to anger a lot of loyal MS fanboys). Also unlike Xbox One, it does not require a constant connection to the internet to play (what a stupid idea from Microsoft)

Backwards compatibility-not in the hardware, BUT Sony will be using its new cloud service Gaikai to stream PS3 games, also PS2/One games will be available via download as before.

Here are few games in development:

Killzone, Shadowfall

Watchdogs

Drive Club

Destiny
