That saying was correct before the introduction of yahoo answers. I know that the site is full of trolls but some people are just ignorant or not particularly smart.
I have never used it but occasionally when I google something I would come across funny/silly questions asked on yahoo answers.. like this one "Are there any birds in Canada?" (Are there birds in Canada? - Yahoo! Answers) |

I think that "There are no stupid questions, just stupid people." might be more accurate.

love the answers people gave. Someone used what I was thinking - snowbirds, they all migrate to Florida in the winter.

LOL that's too funny. Only one bird in all of Canada and they have to leave Canada if the bird dies?

I sometimes love "stupid" too much. I remember when I was at our new house, mowing the lawn for the first time (nearly an acre, with a hand/push mower :-) in my flipflops and came across a snake! I ran into the house to get my husband to come out and get/kill it and he protested, gave the (pretty good :-) excuse that it would not be there when we got back and I countered that with, we'd have to look for it, I did not want the cats to find a poisonous snake, etc. and then he said, "there are no poisonous snakes in Maryland" and I countered that with, "What?! Do they get to the State line and read a sign saying, "No snakes allowed" and turn back?"

Yahoo answers has become quite bad. Too many trolls and others making fun of people.
