Watching/reading something light-hearted and uplifting often really helps, having long conversations with my girlfriend and her mom, listening to music...Sometimes just going out and getting some fresh air is all I need to feel at least a bit better

Even if it intensifies the feeling as I'm writing about it, when I'm done I'm so proud of the result that I feel better.. I also have this list I started years ago where I have the sweetest things people have said to me. If I can find it in myself to read it when I'm upset, it actually helps quite a bit. |
