Why do you have to ask a dozen or more times for anything to be accomplished? What is wrong with them? I may be a wee bit bias but I think if there were more women contractors there would be a whole lot more accomplished in a whole lot less time with a whole lot less frustrations.

Hi Rhap,
It's easier just to do things for yourself. I need my toilet fixed so I called the landlord's maintenence crew-it's been 2 weeks, they've broken 2 appointments and the toilet is still not fixed.
I sent a ***** letter to my landlord. Let's see if that'll work. If not then I'll fix it myself charge him for the part and tack on a nice labor fee.
