Which is the Social Networking site that you hate the most ?

I think Facebook will get all the votes.

There are many social networking sites,i just added few of them in the options which are popular. If the site you don't like is not in the poll, you can mention it in the comments.

I only use Facebook and Twitter, so I chose against them. I used to use MySpace, but that got to be a pain (worse than Facebook), so I dropped it. I've never heard of "Orkut".

I hate that FB uses that "neverending page" code. I'll be scrolling, it'll stop, and then load a bunch more posts and lose my place. I know I'm part of the problem, because I've added so many friends and "Likes" that I'm constantly barraged with content, but I get frustrated trying to keep up. I can't even check my responses from other people in threads I commented in, because I lose track. There's also a technical glitch that sometimes happens where it won't let me "Like" something--it turns to "Unlike" and then right back to Like. (I've found re-sorting the posts to "Most Recent" fixes this issue.)

I'll mention Twitter briefly, too. Most of the posts are short, unhelpful words that don't really explain the inevitable link that accompanies them. I just want the message, I don't want to click a link to see a picture or a longer post somewhere, because when I'm done with that, I'll have to go back to Twitter and scroll to the next message I want to read, click that link, then read the text and/or view the photo/video, then back to Twitter...Grrrr! I just want to scroll down through Twitter and read each message (which should be SHORT and to the point) until I want to stop. I hate all these extra steps you have to take. FB allows links, too, but at least you can include a paragraph to explain what the link is, so I'm less likely to waste my time.

I also don't like that "never ending page" code in FB.Why can't it come like page by page ? My internet is somewhat slow,so its even worse for me.I have few people in my list but my "likes" will be little over 100.So,updates are coming from the pictures or page i liked and i can't concentrate in all of them. There are many. When i see them,i wondered how people who have plenty of friends in their list will handle that.

Social media, can have it's benefits. I've not used, Orkut. So, I cannot speak to that one. MySpace, would be my least fav of them all. Well, at the last point, I had ever used it, couldn't hide people's moods/statements. My half-sister, was the reason I went there, years ago. It's where I learned, most about covert bullying behaviors on-line.

The only social media that I actually really like is tumblr. I have no clue what orkut or whatever it is named is and the rest of them majorly bother me in some way. Facebook is so depressing when you're lonely, twitter is just an unnecessary extension of Facebook, Instagram is just selfies and food, and they all annoy me.

I didn't vote. I don't use any of them so have no opinion. PC is enough social networking for me.

All of it. Facebook and myspace are worst. Maybe that Kik thing too.

I don't mind Facebook some days because I find funny pictures on there and get to see pictures of far off relatives etc, but the overwhelming feeling that everyone is more successful than me is hard.

I tend to love twitter as I can drop in and out as and when my illness lets me. Also it's so quick to find out things that are happening if I need to or my anxiety is up for some reason about someone but I see they've tweeted so know they're ok.

Tumblr I'm just kind of getting into & not got the habit of it yet.

Google+ I've only ever used google drive

Okrut never heard of it

MySpace is pretty much dead now as far as I'm aware but was a good stepping stone to Facebook I think. Like bebo. But there were certainly more bullying/spam issues on there and it wasn't as safe info wise as the others are, so I went with MySpace.

I hate it, too. It's actually called "infinite scroll" and is just part of the coded script. I basically post comments on FB, but I don't go back the next day when I get online again and go check to see if anyone said anything else, because I can't find the post! The page that lets you know So-and-So replied to your message or commented on your photo is so full, posts get lost. I can't even keep up with the new stuff, but I get on for the little bit of fun I get with cute pics and humor. I see a lot of animal abuse and abandonment cases, because I've accepted friends and Liked pages for "crossposting" cases like that. I don't share much of those anymore, because there's so many it's overwhelming. And people get upset when I show pics of what happens to animals in farming, the food industry and in other countries (China is notorious in their evil ways against animals!). I just feel helpless, because I want to help them all.

Sorry, got off-topic there. I agree, MySpace is obsolete. Dumped it long ago. Somewhere many months ago, I heard someone say, "Instagram is for people who can't read," LOL! I have never used it, but I don't have a smartphone, anyway.

I forget who said it here, but I get plenty of social networking right here at PC. I get more responses, too, and feel closer to people. Granted, FB makes it easier for me to network with others in the filmmaking and acting realms, but my anxiety holds me back from really participating in that. Actually, I plan to post some emotions I'm having when I have more time to post, because some things are bothering me regarding my panic disorder and my life, and stupid me forgot to tell my pdoc about my concerns when I saw him last week. I was focused on my prescription, and I had gone there the day before my appointment, thinking my appt. was that day, so I was a bit confused.

I think the "infinite scroll" stuff is stupid.Yes,you cannot find the same post..New stuffs will be updated faster. When we "like" something,we should not be subscribed to it automatically.I think that is bad feature. Then,i don't like one thing about the you tube.I wanted to change the email used for my youtube but it doesn't allow to change it.If we have to change the email used for youtube, then we have to make another youtube account. That doesn't make any sense.I don't invite all the few people i have in my list to sign petitions for animals because i know they are not interested in it.I did invited one or 2 people before, now i am not.I have signed plenty of petitions for animals.I will keep on signing.Indeed i know about China for the animal part. I saw few videos which was horrible. It is "Eating live Animals". It is going on in China,Korea,Japan....

The only other one I use besides PC is Twitter.

I only use it to follow my favorite softball team when they're playing on the road though.

All those other sites - especially facebook - scare the bejeesus out of me so I avoid them like the plague!

There should be an option for "all of them" because that's what I would choose. But I voted for Facebook because for me, that has to be the worst. There's just something sinister about that site that I can't quite put my finger on....well, without sounding like a paranoid lunatic anyway

I tried to tick them all! It had to be FB. Twitter came joint 1st. I make up tshirt slogans.

FB?..FO

Twitter is for tw*ts

Truly cant stick them, they take up so much valuable time. They make people false and vain and pressurised. OK not everyone but most. I see alot of it in work, in fact they should be working not messing about. FB is useful for those who live far away, granted but Twitter?? wt? idiotic and its rival. Stooopid platform for wannabes most of the time. JMO lol.

I don't always ask all my friends to sign petitions, either. Sometimes I'll post a request, but I don't think many, if any, reply. At least I tried. I just hope these petitions make a good difference.

I actually like YouTube, except for a few things. I agree about the changing to a new account issue. I could watch videos for the rest of my life, there are so many I find interesting, cute, horrible, funny, and shocking.

The problem I have with YouTube, Facebook, news sites, celebrity gossip sites (I try not to read too many of the latter, because who cares??? Well, sometimes I do, I guess...but not a lot), and pretty much any site with what I'll call "Temptations". Does anyone do this? I will often try NOT to look at other areas of the page than the item I'm reading or watching, because I know I'll have to read or look at something that looks interesting/fun/cute. I don't usually succeed, but I try not to get tempted, because the next thing you know, you've killed two or three hours just looking at oodles of videos or reading news, when you only meant to look at one or two and then get back to the task at hand--which you've forgotten what it was. Am I the only one?
