Hi All,
Got a real surprise when I looked out my kitchen window this afternoon to see a doe with her fawn feeding in our back pasture. She used to be here a lot, before the steers came. She and her fawn kept coming up closer and closer to the house, until my St. Bernard, Molly, who was out front spotted them, and started backing. They didn't run off immediately, but when they did, they threw their white tails up and ran off with their tails waving from side-to-side in unison, like metronomes. Hope you all had a peaceful and happy Sunday too!! Hugs, EJ |
