There's this new thing where you buy positive pregnancy tests on Craigslist then trick your BF into giving you money for a fake abortion.

What kind of world do we live in ? What tw*t thought of that ? Anyone who, would even go there . How do they look in the mirror, at themselves ? Beyond comprehension, the whole process.

That is terrible. Then again, people are desperate for money. Doesn't make this any less wrong though. Especially in a society where women really have to make that decision, which is never easy. It's like making a joke out of it. Eugh.

At first glance, it may sound like something a woman might plot, but the mastermind could just as well have been a man - now no man has to believe a pregnancy test, and can shirk any responsibility.

Good grief--I can see the solution to that. Kits for DNA of the baby....Don't ask me yet how the researchers can come up with a home test for that, but I have already seen advertised a kit where people can check certain parts of their DNA to see what ailments they might be prone to.
I find that fake pregnancy test really mean.

See that is the benefit of free health care here in Canada. Abortions don't cost anything so we can't pull that crap on a mate.

I saw that on the news; don't know how it would work (wouldn't on me if I were a guy); they were saying it could get the guy to propose/marry you too but I'd just wait a bit. . .
I think the whole exposure of the scheme will not go well for those trying to sell them. All I'd do is buy a pregnancy kit and have the woman retake it. If she balked at all or got "offended" I wouldn't believe her right then for that. My money, my prenancy test :-)
