I've made some mini apple pies, hello autumn/fall.
Needed to waste them and wash them down with cider..
Thanks for this!

Nice one. I'd like to cook something like that, better it's just something I never find myself doing. xD What other things do you cook? Does cooking relax you?

Pie is fantastic O:

I like to bake, but I have this weird anxiety that when I bake or cook my brain is in panic mode because I guess subconsciously I think I need to be faster. it's quite weird ..

Cooking always relaxes me. I bake most things, I love to bake cakes. And pot dishes like stews and well real heart warming dishes.
Thanks for this!

I tend to bake breads and biscuits mostly and occasionally muffins. I love fruit so much in its natural state, I rarely have any left to bake with I do love to make apple crisp with granny smith apples if I have any around.

Baking relaxes me, too I know, it completely stems from early childhood memories, of spending time with my great-gram, on the farm, in her kitchen and pantry. And taking a chair, and pulling up next to her, listening to her, talk to me, I'm sure, describing step by step, what to be careful of, etc. Many smiles, lots of pie crusts rolled out, kneeded breads, cakes mixed and of course, dinner and lunches made, as well.

I make homemade cakes, each birthday, and with a half-sheet recipe, the kids give me a theme, of choice and I get to test my hand at creative designs for them. And the cake is devoured in a matter of a couple of days.

Just love to bake. Love the smells, the sometimes challenges. Looking at a finished product and knowing I've reminded myself of very, very fond memories.
