Ok so i'm gradually hauling myself into the 21st century. I've never had a mobile phone believe it or not . And actually the phone part would come down the list of what i want it for, so:
1. voice recorder ( to record thoughts ,ideas, rhymes etc) 2. camera ( to take pics on the go) 3 phone 4 watch 5 er dont know what else comes on a mobile phone. Please enlighten me. I guess pay as you go would suit me. I get calls from my cable co saying ' you can have the latest phone for such and such ......' don't need it It would just be handy to have everything in one. |

I have the cheapest phone on the market in Canada. Probably shouldn't admit to that. They must have one of these there. I paid $54 for it and it does all those things you want plus way more. I like the day planner and I record my thoughts on my phone too. It isn't a phone that will turn heads, but it works and it is simple to use and it is cheap. I pay $10.50 a month for 2500 messages and then just pay 5 cents a minute if I need to call. Before this I just did pay as you go. I need it only for emergencies and to send texts.

Hey
If you live in the United States and get any sort of help, you can get a government phone with 250 free minutes a month. Good Luck at finding that perfect phone...... ![]()

I was going to suggest the government phone. It's been a life saver for my mom and myself. But I noticed they live in the UK. I don't know if they have a program like that in the UK. They might?
Does the UK have Nokia? I swear by those things. I had a Nokia for years before it began to stop working. Generally speaking, prepaid phones are the best bet if you're on a budget. You control how much you spend on them.

Nothing on your list of desired functions would need cell or data services. It seems like you could find a perfectly functioning android device for near nothing cost wise that would do all the things on your list. I don't know where you live but most urban areas provide enough public Wi-Fi that, using free apps, you can get by without any service at all and still have most of the functionality ie. Making calls, sending texts, Web browsing etc.
Ask around see if someone you know has a phone they don't use anymore, hell, PM me a mailing address and I will send you one that does all you mentioned. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 |
