I splurge by closing all the shade, turning every light on in the house, maybe turn some music on and BAKE!!! When I'm done backing, I turn off all the lights, open the shades and lay by an open window where the rain doesn't come in. Usually, it lulls me to the most peaceful, restful sleep I've ever gotten!
 After it stops raining, I take my dog out for a walk. If I was on foot, I'd stomp all the puddles, but since I'm in a wheelchair, I ride through them and laugh at my dog as she tried not to get splattered.

I love the rain.
I just stand there naked with my face to the sky and drink it all in. Me being a flower and all, what else would I do?

I love listening to the rain...as long as there is no lightning to go along with it...lol...sometimes I will get a good book to read too...the pitter patter makes me sleepy...

Rainy days make my mood happy! hey "We learn to like things from different reasons." So if you had really great times on rainy days (I am not sure where you were on November 16th 2005 1:00 PM in my Time zone where I lived IT WAS RAINNING AND I HAD A VEEY SPECIAL DAY THEN!)

I love rain, too!!!!!!!!!! I love to be out in it unless it's pouring down so hard that I can't see to drive.
Most of all, I love fog!!!!!!!!! I love to feel it on my face, so soft and gentle. It's so magical to me! Jan Pet, you go naked in the rain!!!!!!!!! Jan passes out....

Listen to 60's music like Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Four Tops, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles...maybe watch Speed Channel if there's anything about NASCAR or NHRA drag racing on...playing with or cuddling with my feline gal Tika...college football on Saturdays...

Cuddling on the couch with a blanket, reading a good book or watching a good movie always works for me.

Like some of the others, I like a rainy day. Granted we don't get a whole lot of them where I am. But when the day is rainy, it is as if I have been given permission to relax the whole day and do whatever i enjoy. I might read, listen to music (or both), watch a movie if there is a good one on, draw, spend time online, and most important... NAP!! Curl up with the cat and take a catnap!!
