Well, it's official now. Yesterday I registered for and paid my tuition for the winter semester. I'm going back to finish the forensic accounting program that I started Fall 12. I was forced to withdraw this past spring, because I had to go IP.

I'm kind of nervous about it, but am also looking forward to it. I'm picking up right where I left off, keeping my really good grades from first semester, and I just have 4 months left to do and I'll graduate.

I'm hoping that the specialist training will help me get back into the workforce.

That's wonderful splitimage.

It's also something I've been wanting to do for a while; going back to classes. Wish you luck. You'll graduate pretty soon

George H - yes forensic accounting. It's pretty interesting really, it's all about investigating fraud, corruption, and terrorist financing. When I graduate I'd be eligible for jobs with the Gov't auditors, private practice firms that investigate corporate or private fraud, the police, or a securities exchange commission.

You can't open the paper without seeing an example of fraud or corruption on a daily basis, so my hope is that there will be lots of jobs in the field.

Yeah it's not accounting for dead people altho thats what it sounds like you know what I mean! I think you'll be really good at that, split; when I was still working, the new kids could write new programs, but they could NOT fix a broken one - whether no patience or no training or what, idk.

Despite what Hankster said (shame on you Hankster :P) I was thinking it might be something along those lines.
Sounds interesting.
Good luck!

That sounds so cool, split! If investigating fraud...look first to our Canadian banks and government. That should keep you busy
