My husband just found a little black, halloween kitty outside our door in the snow! She's little and cuuuuteeee. We will most likely keep her, bringing our cat total to 3 ohhh a new kitty!!

Hehe the black and halloween part is just fitting too!

Good morning,
Our lil' black cats found us.....two of them adopted us last autumn around this time.
We found a Halloween yard sign at wal-mart thhta says, "Black Cats Crossing'..... all the homeless black cats ( and other colored cats) come over to scratch their lil' heads on the post....
No body who visits us better be superstitious of black cats...lol
have fun with your new blessing.

oh, yeah, the mama black cat decided to choose our place to give birth to her litter last mothers day..... since then, we hjave had her spayed, another black male caqt who adopted us....got hhin a nic and tuc too...lol
so, our kitty family is four sweet blessings.

BOO to you.... hey, maybe name the kitty BOO?
ohhh a new kitty!!

I just got a new kitten and my 8 year old cat is very grumpy about it. How long did it take your cats to adjust to new ones?

We got the first one in May, when she was 12-14 weeks old. We got the second one in mid August, she was about 11 weeks old. It took them about 2 weeks to get used to each other enough that they didn't hiss or layout their ears in passing. They still like to wrestle/fight...and usually pick on one another if one is sitting quietly. They don't like the little interloper yet. But they are both pretty young yet, not even a year old, and all female. I don't know about how much longer it would take for an older cat. My mom doesn't like cats, so these are our first indoor cats ever.
