HUH? How can anything be slower than dial up? If they won't give you faster service, then ask for a reduced rate, LESS than dial up!!! stomp stomp

A lousy cable service can be worse than dialup! Flippen Time Warner!!! Time Warner just took over for Adelphia. You would thing that a "big business" like that would be able to manage the transition move seamlessly! They're doing such a bad job, that they've been on the news here.

And they want me to chance me email address??? Why? What for? So I don't get my email? And they call it "progress"!!

I think I'm gonna call them every time a site hangs up or I get knocked of the Internet and I'm gonna tell them they've got to get their hinies out here NOW!! Flippen Time Warner!!!

It IS rediculous! Some of the local TV stations have even interviewed disgruntled customers! I'm seriously thinking of going DSL.

Yes, you need to call them ,and also document the date and time and how long it was out... and NOT be charged for that... or did you say it was free? Flippen Time Warner!!!

I had Adelphia cable service in my previous residence, and tried the DSL with them, finding it unsatisfactory. Then, I went with my Verizon phone service for DSL, and it was terrible, jamming up my computer (making me think I needed to buy a new PC!). When I recently moved, I boycotted Verizon entirely, just using a cell phone with no hard line in my house. I am using Suddenlink cable and DSL at this time, which is fast and reliable, but very expensive. They seem to have us by the balls no matter what we choose! I would go with a dialup connection if I had a hard phone line in my house, but that would mean going back to Verizon with their ridiculous charges. But, I am actually considering it. Does anyone use a reliable dial up that they care to recommend?

Free... oh, sure!! Flippen Time Warner!!! You have a good idea there! I think I'll do just that! And every time the picture on my TV freezes and turns to pixels, I'll document that, too!

On my walks, I've looked to see how many houses DON'T have anything visible for TV reception. Most have Dish... but Dish still "doesn't do Internet." Flippen Time Warner!!! If I go DSL, guess what? It would be with Time Warner! Double Flippen Time Warner!!! Flippen Time Warner!!!!!

I'm going to keep that journal of the time I have trouble with my cable modem and harras the heck out of them!! I'll probably write a letter to the editor, too, by golly!

I hate when that happens, especially if you are doing something really big and important! I have a Linkysys Router Connection so both laptops and both Computers can connect. Since my house is pretty big we had to buy one of those wireless things for it and if you bump the connector just one tiny grain of rice the connection can loose the whole thing or just mess it up. When that happens Flippen Time Warner!!! Flippen Time Warner!!!
