I thought it would be nice to have a thread for our newcomers to come & meet us & each other.

Welcome to PC. We have a lot of supportive people here ready to welcome you to the community!
Please feel free to post a little about yourselves here so we can get to know you.
Thanks for this!

To all new members, I hope you find PC to be a very supportive and positive place. Hope you like it here.

I struggle with Bipolar II, mainly depressed. I'm married and have two dogs. My daughter is grown and doing well on her own. I'm 61 and worried about the future.

No, you're fine! Welcome to PC! I just wanted to create a place for the newcomers to come together & meet is & each other. You can post anywhere. This is just s thread to bring us all together instead of having to "track down " all the new members to say hi. It's my way of trying not to miss anyone.

Hi All, newcomer here. I joined the forum yesterday for support and a safe place as I navigate a now personal relationship with my former therapist.

It's odd, isn't it? At times, depression can leave you completely numb - and other times, it turns you into a raging, steaming mess...

There is an entire forum for this very purpose. Nice thought, though. Hi, everyone.

Definitely, and the weird part for me is when the numb comes on is when I start to become a danger to myself. But when the anger comes up is the same time that my norepinephrine and seratonin levels plummet and I can't process the situation into my short term memory. I guess (since I don't remember) I've forgotten entire weekends.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
