It's getting better but it's still not fun- the tender spot on the back of my head is a bit better- I was goofing around with my bf and jumped backwards onto my bed and overshot it and wacked the back of my head on my wall- luckily it was a flat surface because it was dangerously close to the windowsill frame.
(Link to concussion symptoms: Concussion - WebMD: Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention ) On another positive note- I got an upgrade to my modem, because apparently it was outdated and after having connections with my internet via COMCAST for several months, finally I got a hold of someone on the helpline who knows what the eff they're doing who was able to see that was in fact outdated and I went down to the Comcast office and exchanged my old one for the new 3.0 which also included wifi so I discarded my stupid netgear router. Of course they didn't give me any instructions and I was flying by the seat of my pants and after calling a couple times to activate it I finally got someone who knew what to do and told me the name of my network and that I needed to enter the network key to be able to connect and voila!!! (FINALLY) so effing frustrating how other people's incompetence can complicate peoples lives . . . ![]() Last edited by AngstyLady; Feb 05, 2014 at 09:20 PM. Reason: spelling |

Concussions aren't a joke, even a mild one. Trust me, I've had a few. If you haven't gone to the doctor, make an appt soon.

Yikes, that sounds like it hurt. I hope you've seen a doctor!

I agree with everyone else about going to see the doctor.
Glad you got your internet fixed up. It can be maddening dealing with online support people. I feel sorry for you. At least, you finally found someone who knew what they were doing. ![]()

Well, I didn't see a doctor, but did talk to a coworker who has had a concussion in the past and he told me that basically the doctor will just tell me to rest and take it easy. If anything, it's pretty minor- granted I had mental fatigue and concentration issues that have gone away- but I didn't pass out or have any dizziness or nausea. I did sustain a minor sore spot on the back of my head that seems to be reducing in size though
