I had to put my 14 year old dog Annie down. She was slowly going down hill and she was not acting like herself. My heart is completely broke. I do know this too will pass, but in the mean time Im allowing myself be blue.

Dear Buzz-

I am so sorry for your loss. Sharing unconditional love with your furry children for fourteen years is a joy and a treasure that you will always cherish, but for now, it will be hard. I had two cats for foourteen years and lost both of them within three weeks. It was devastating and took me a long time to accept. People will tell you yoou'll get over it, and in time, it won't hurt as much. But you will always remember your Annie and always love her, and hopefully she will be waiting for you when it's your time.
My heart goes out to you and always feel free to pm me if you need to talk.

I'm sorry I know how is to lose a pet. Mine was very young and I was desperate, but after many years together it must be even worse. But it will surely pass, also if now it doesn't seem. It's ok that you allow yourself be sad now. I'm here if you want to talk. Love

So sorry for your lost. At first time it's a big pain but with time you will learn how lucky you have been having her on your life and sharing that kind of unconditional love. I can remember every pet I have and they are with me in my heart.
Lots of hugs.

I know all too well the pain of losing a pet. I've lost several in the past, all my 10 cats in our fire this past December, and our goat of 13 years just a few weeks ago. Allow yourself to grieve. You need to. And it takes time, sometimes a very long time. I'm grieving and just accept that I will be for quite awhile yet. Losing a pet is the same as losing any other member of the family. Simply put, it hurts. Thoughts are with you.

I agree with you! It's like losing a person. I'm sorry also for your losses.
Thanks for this!

So deeply sorry. My Mrs. and I have now seen four cats out, and it never gets any easier. Plenty of 's to you.

Thanks guys. Its getting better and better every day. One of my other dogs has stopped looking for her. Those days were tear jerkers too.

I'm so sorry. We lost our dog late last year too. She'll always be with you in your heart.
