It sometimes can be hard to leave the home after highschool or what have you. (Well maybe not at first for some, but eventually.) What are things you do to keep from missing your family constantly? How are you able to create your own life and be ok only visiting once every couple of years or so? (Depending on proximity of course.)

skype often and bring something familiar from home with you like a pillowcase so you can hug it when you feel homesick.
