We've got 40 MPH winds here today! Are we in Kansas yet??? I don't know where my trash cans are and it feels as if the roof is gonna blow off my house!! Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet???

All of my plants are getting beat to death! Dang rose bushes won't stop growing so I can trim them down! They're bending almost to the ground with the wind gusts!!! Are we in Kansas yet??? Oh, my babies!!! Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet???

I wanna know who ordered this damn wind!!! Are we in Kansas yet??? I would have prefered that the lightning and thunderstorm we had last night had hung around!! I'll take that ANY DAY over this damnable wind!

Thanks, Peg... I'm safe as long as I stay inside. Don't like the noises, though! A palm branch just blew off a tree a ways from here and hit my neighbor's roof! Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet???

If you're going to trash the state I grew up in, at least get the quote right. It's "Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet??? Are we in Kansas yet???

September Morn,

It sounds like the storm that's supposed to be here in Kansas I think on Sunday, or Monday!

Are we in Kansas yet??? I'm sorry! It wasn't ME that sent them! We still have a bit of the tail end today. Are we in Kansas yet???

My roses are in shambles! They look weather beaten, have broken branches and what flowers remained are petal-less. Just the core is left. Are we in Kansas yet??? The peach tree is finally completely bare of any leaves.

The weather report said we were supposed to still have winds of 30-40 mph with gusts up to 80 mph but it's not happening that bad here, anymore.

A part of someone's roof is in my neighbor's front yard, the one that got the dry palm frond on his roof. The whole park is full of them littering the streets. We'll see how the eucalyptus survived. Are we in Kansas yet???

Don't know now which is worse; the sand storms in El Paso, or this freaky weather we're having out here in CA.
