Hi guys!

I'm a third year computer science student, studying a 4 year BSc honours degree here in Dublin.

I've taken a year out due to personal problems and am going into third year this coming September.

I'm finding it really hard to get back into coding after my year off. I've some experience with C, C# and Java. I particularly like games and app development but am finding the Android stuff pretty difficult. Have a Raspberry Pi too but have done nothing with it.

Anyone any ideas for simple projects I could undertake to get back into the swing of things? Or even things that helped yourself or someone you know really grasp and get into programming!

Cheers guys!

Hello, chickenfoot. I know nothing about programming, but wish you well.

A to do list app is pretty simple to make and there are a lot of tutorials out there.

Just start making android apps... who cares if anyone will use them, if you can make simple silly apps that will give you practice for when you want to make more complicated ones.
