I want you guys to know that little things make all the difference. We never truly know how much emotional pain someone is in and how alone they feel. Simply asking them how they are, smiling at them, offering a hug or kind word can transform their day and give them that boost of hope to keep pushing on. Because with each of these gestures there is another meaning. Meanings such as:
I care about you
I notice you
You mean something to me
A gesture which may seem insignificant to you could make someones day and mean the world to them.

Never underestimate the power of quietly reaching out.

Totally agree. I sometimes like to think that the small things I do actually make a difference to people's lives, however mild.
