Sir Reginald Kenneth Dwight is a name we all know
David Furnish the Canadian not has much so
They married in London on 21st December 05
In a civil ceremony at 11am GMT time
Several hundred other same sex couples married the same day
Making British legal history the exact same way
They have been partners and companions for the last 12 years
Soul-mates they have found, he says wiping away the tears

Reginald reunited with Bernie Taupin upon princes Diana’s death
To rewrite his 75 classic which everyone played to death
Candle in the wind 97 is money for old rope
But that Reginald geezer is no old soak
It’s the biggest selling single of all time
But for all his trouble he wont receive a dime
Now I’ll finish up this ditty and go about my working day
I’ve got websites to go look at and pc games to play

The fuzzy end of the lollypop well what can I say
Other than its what I seem to get every damn day
I wake up every morning feeling the same way
My disappointment is infectious so its best to stay away
The lollypop isn’t sweet its has bitter as a pill
The symptoms are infectious and it will make you ill
Fuzzy ends of lollypops are metaphorical you see
And this can happen to anyone including you and me
A fuzzy ended lollypop is all that you have left
After you have failed repeatedly at everything
Even though you’ve done your best
You could have a gross weight of lollypops
But they will all be the same
With various layers of lint, guilt, shame and blame
My pockets are always empty bar the lint along the seams
I dream of gift wrapped lollypops but they are only dreams

The best day of my life I fondly recall
Was the day I got a package,
From my then wife, That was pink, light and small
He was gift wrapped for me by the OBGN in charge
I was smoking cigars that day and living it up large
I was full of admiration for the miracle I held in my hands
You’ve got to be a first time dad to truly understand
His journey in life had only just begun
It didn’t sink in for days what I had just become
The wife wasn’t happy, the baby blues hit her bad
I stepped up to the plate and showed her I could be a dad
I took care of them both which took her by surprise
She looked at me then threw different eyes
My services are no longer needed, or so she seems to think
She forgets on more than one occasion
I was the one that brought her back from the brink
One of these days she will look back and see
The pain she is causing, and not to just me.
