I am a member, and I am seeing good results so far. I was getting concerned about my "Memory," and I've noticed how much my memory has improved since playing their brain games.
Thanks for this!

I've given it consideration. I feel as though my memory and overall cognitive abilities have been faltering a great deal over the last few years. Think it's worth a try? I bought some "brain exercising" workbooks a few months ago, but they felt too much like homework. I did the first few exercises and just kind of lost interest.

I haven't gone to the site yet, but I've been curious about it. The problem I usually have with brain games is that I get bored with them quickly and lose interest.

I don't find their games boring, but interesting and challenging while levelling up to the next levels.

Lumosity is good but I found these 2 books to far more more interesting: "A Whack On The Side Of The Head" and "A Kick In The Seat Of The Pants"
Thanks for this!

I have seen improvement with my Dad, who is doing it, and he has noticed it himself as well. So much so he sent me an invitation. I will be checking it out as I know I have been noticing issue with my memory and processing speed over the last couple of years as I am getting older. Stress too plays a big part in affecting these things I know as well but anything to help is appreciated. Wll check back in once get going with it.

I've never heard of them... what's this about, then? Sounds intriguing. I'm always up for upgrading my central processing unit.

I assume you are talking to me. The books are about novel ways of problem solving, and how to train your brain to be creative, I found them to be quite intriguing.

I'm happy to accept that lumosity works for people, and I'm glad it works for you, OP and others.

I just don't like the ads for lumosity that we get over here, they feature empty phrases that sound impressive but don't give any real information.

'it's all based on neuroscience'. Well great, but that's very vague, what are you referring to, exactly?

Anyway, just to reiterate, I'm not criticizing the excercises, I'm glad to hear that they actually work.

Thanks for this!

Hah, yeah. I find most advertisements to be rather vacuous and feeble, even. I hate most commercials. Except for a couple Geico ones I've seen, which were rather funny(not the ones with the Gecko. I hate that gecko.)

I was asking whomever would answer. I think logic and creativity is fine over thisaway, as I've been pretty much brought up on many logic games, via both computer and physical. As for creativity, I'm a guitarist so I'm probably sorted there. xD Still, sounds cool.

I joined but wish they had more of the games available for mobile devices ... I get tired of the advertising as well

I like lumosity....I was improving dramatically then I had to go on meds and I'm falling rapidly.....still I like having proof the med induced blunting is happening and that I really am smarter when hallucinating...it's counterintuitive because people assume you only think you're smarter when psychotic but you actually are....I'm convinced that it's aberrant neuroplasticity....

Also when I was having motivation issues it really helped me to play a couple of games to get started working. It's like a jump start.....
