Crystal ball...... What would you want to know about your future?

I would want to know if my kids/grand kids were going to turn out ok.

Nothing. You might not like what you learn.

I am quite ill most of the time, so I guess I would want to know the exact date and time of my death. It would greatly influence what I may do today. Don't tell me I should live each day as if it were my last, that is just plain ridiculous.

I want to know when I will start going through menopause. That would be very helpful.

Whether I'll be happy.

I'm with George......I don't want to know the future.....however if I had known that my life now was going to be my future back in the mid 1990's rather than continuing to be trapped in a bad marriage, I might not have attempted suicide all the times I did. I thought I was never going to be free.
Interesting because it was such a nothing thing to go through. I had anorexia problems right before that & basically my body had stopped functioning anyway. When I survived the anorexia a few years later when I left my H & moved to KY.....I thought the hot flashes were from the heat & the humidity that was so different from the California desert I had lived in for so many years.....I had no idea that was even what was happening to me.....it lasted for a short while & then that was over......I don't even remember much of what it was like.

I think digging up the future is like digging up the past - all you get is dirty.

Probably not. I'd only want to know about things I could change so I wouldn't screw things up.

YES AND AMEN to that! I'm ready to get that over with! I'm sick and tired of "Aunt Flow" and her monthly visits!!! GRRRRR!

Me too but I don't think I'll need a crystal ball to answer that one. Lol

I would want to know if I was created for a purpose or if I was just part of natural science...life...mother nature...

or

I would want to know if its true that we have a soul? or are we just humans with brains - which means brains create emotions and conscience and when we die we just die, its like sleeping forever without dreaming.

Right now, I'd want to see what my boyfriend is really doing. See if he's where he said he's going and who (if anyone) he's with.

Gee you told me you were with your partner for 40 years!! Imagine that. Guess you're not as old as you thought you were. Why lie about it?

I didn't. It's unusual that I haven't reached menopause which is why it's so concerning to me.

I don't really need one to be honest, i mean barring any major incident or disaster i feel my life will go pretty much as i expect. A crystal ball would only alert me to something more negative that i'd rather not know.

I would like to know if I should try another job or be content with what I have.

One way that pretty well helps all the time and is amazingly easy. Just smile at another person, someone you don't know. Chances are they will smile back and even more importantly they will carry that smile with them all day and spread it to others.

Opening a door for someone, helping to carry a bag, shovel snow for a Senior Citizen, the list is endless. Nearly everything can be spread with very simple random acts of kindness and they all make far more difference than you will ever realize.

What not to do? Don't be rude, crude arrogant, self-serving or frown all the time. Just go through life with a pleasant demeanour and you will automatically spread and invite kindness from all around you.

Sometimes there are people who want nothing to do with being cheered up, when this happens just maintain your pleasant self and let them be. At least you did nothing to further their pain or anger and that might be just enough for them to get them through the day.

Simply put, nothing.

If I knew something bad, I'd want to change it. If I knew something good, I would likely over-anticipate it and end up messing it up.

I want to know if I'm going to be rich very soon.
