OMG!!!!!!!!
I knew there were these baby spiders in my house and I thought they could chill, but I didn't know they MULTIPLIED!!!!! Everywhere I looked, there were these dainty spiders and tiny bug graveyards of dozens of these tiny bugs trapped in a spider's web. And mold. Mold everywhere. I took vinegar to the two windowsills that were desperate for attention, and all around the bathroom, and multiple places elsewhere that had gotten out of hand. OMG!!!! EEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! The harmless spiders don't scare me, which is why they thought they were clever by being tiny and harmless, but I took the paper towel and ran my hand over every spider I could find. I had no idea these tiny effers had overrun the joint!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I went through every nook and cranny and wiped up all the spiders and the mold. Mind you, I live in an extremely humid environment...the mold and the spiders want a nice cozy two room apartment to hide in. NO LONGER!!!! This house has been cleansed!!!! If only I had my mom's sage to burn to spiritually cleanse the house. I feel absolutely disgusted that I let these spiders roam free...but I stay on top of the mold the best I can. It seems as if every time I clean the mold it comes right back. I even bought a dehumidifier to help. GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I got the heebie jeebies now!!!!! |

I just bought spider spray and it's a nice day out so I'll be spraying all around the windows and doors with it (outside of course). That way they don't come in!!! |

The mold is no good and vinegar was a smart idea, but the spiders are wonderful little critters, unless they're black widows or brown recluses. I wish there wasn't such discrimination against spiders.

My farm house has many little hiding spots where spiders lay their eggs. I have seen 100's hatching out of a spider egg sack. Just the little cellar spiders, but I don't need overpopulation of spiders inside my house when they have 10+ acres to enjoy. I have an orb weaver spider on my front deck. Interesting to watch but not going to let her egg sack survive that close to my house either. I have my limits of spiders that get away with being inside & close to my house but my house is MY DOMAIN

I am not fearful or hateful of spiders but I have a firm rule of no spiders in the house. Case in point, I let a few baby spiders hang out...suddenly every inch of the house I see a spider. Not cool.

Maybe check youtube for helpful advice on how to live comfortably and safely in your part of the world?
Mold can be dangerous, far more worrisome than spiders (although they disgust me, too, when they hatch in such huge numbers). Lysol spray works on many surfaces and kills/ controls mold. Check the label before you spray. Make sure you ventilate when using spider spray. ![]() |

I live in a humid climate too. Air conditioning helps keep the humidity at bay. But a dehumidifier is a good idea too and less expensive.
