Hello everyone
 I have a pet peeve about some dog owners at the park. Have you ever come across dog owners that just stand there and dont walk their dogs at the park.....they just let them roam freely and don't really pay attention to whether or not their dog is out of control or bothering others? Today, I came across a pack of Rotties (5 of them) and their owners didn't have them on a leash and they (the owners) were just standing their chatting......mean while their dogs were intimdating other dogs and owners. Part of the park is off-leash...but I think that these ppl are stretching it a bit when they aren't even watching their dogs to see that they aren't a potential threat to other dogs and ppl when they aren't on their leashes.

that doesn't sound good at all, to me.........one rottie (any large dog) could do me in........

I don't take my dog to a dog park but I have a pet peeve, too. It's the rule of the MHP that we're supposed to walk our dogs down the middle of the street and pick up after them. I ALWAYS pick up after my dog no matter what. Yet the people with the little rat dogs hardly ever pick up after them. Probably because they figure that the little rat poops don't matter. Yet they stink and breed flies as much as the "land mines" do!
 If I can pick up Amber's land mines, they can easily pick up their little rat's turd with a Kleenex!!If it's a rule for me, it's a rule for THEM!

Septie Just thought I'd let you know I pick up after TWO rat dogs. Keeps "Both" hands warm in the winter. Plus its I am balanced out.
