I purchased full size candy for my first year giving out candy, is one per person bad etiquette?

Goodness, kids think they hit the jack pot when they get a full size candy bar. One is generous. Snack size bars are the usual if you live in a place that gets over 10-20 kids.
We live a rural area and on get an occasional trick or treater. My large Lab barks and get too excited. Happy Halloween. The kids will love you. |

Wow, I agree with the comment about kids thinking they've hit the jackpot! I give one small snack size, if I decide to open the door at all. There are so many kids that come to my neighborhood that I can't really afford to keep them all supplied in candy.

Wow, I'm coming to your house, you want to give out the full sized candy bars and lots of them.
![]() Seriously, one per kid is perfectly appropriate. |

We don't get very many trick or treaters where I live so I find it crazy that people would only give out one piece of candy per kid! Haha.
I think one piece of candy per kid really depends on how many kids are in your neighborhood and how many are actually going to trick or treat there. |
