Anxiety, how do you deal with it when you have it??

Good question. I'm prone to panic attacks, so I don't really have a good answer for you. Everyone keeps telling me that deep breathing is a savior, it's just hard to do deep breaths when your airways close up so much and you're already in mid-panic.

Also, they say doing relaxing things when you're not having anxiety helps to prevent anxiety in the future. Exercise, sleep, eating well, doing things you like (painting, games, etc.).

Hi lameo, there are several coping skills that can help with anxiety. You may want to check out our forum entitled "Anxiety and Panic" for some tips.
