I applied a few days ago, and got the message today that I'd been accepted as a trainee mod and will hopefully eventually become a full moderator.

I'm excited. I love Freecycle and used it to get rid of a ton of stuff when I had to downsize for my last move, and I've gotten some good stuff from it too.

And - it's something I can actually put on my resume, that isn't related to mental health.

Congratulations!

I love freecycle too and (used to) give tons of stuff away. I kind of hate when people just re-sell though, and it's really just a guess on my part that they are....

But I still go through it and see if there are any "wanteds" for what I have.

I'm glad you're doing it.
