Hi all. This might not seem much of an event to some, but it's big to me. Since just recently, I am not seeing what I expect to see when I Google "images _____." Anybody know what happened??????

I loved being able to Google a subject, or a thing, and click on "images" to get a bunch of pictures, photos, graphics. I'm not artistic at all, and this was the closest I get to having pretty things to post. I am soooooo disappointed. This is the worst change in the Internet, since they made it so you couldn't download from YouTube.

I'm pretty dumb about the Internet. Anyone know what happened. Lots of members here at PC transfer images to posts. Coming to PC is what led to me learning to enjoy and share images.

It's still there for me, right up the top.

It doesn't appear to be a part of the actual search area now though.

Also when you search a word usually half way down the page there is a result for the images.
Thanks for this!

I Googled what happened to images, and I got my answer. Now you have to click on a heading specifically for images before typing what image you want. I am so relieved.

That helps but I still get images and a clickable option for "more images" in my Google searches.
Why aren't you able to DL from youtube? I still do, sometimes audio/video but usually just audio for music vids.
Thanks for this!

Well, I'ld love to know how you do that George. I used to download stuff. It seemed it would go to itunes softwear that I downloaded. And I could bring it up whenever I wanted to listen or watch. Then, suddenly, long time ago, what I had been doing stopped working. Then I read they had put an impediment to people downloading stuff.

I am so lacking in knowledge about this stuff that I probably am unteachable. I have no kids to explain stuff to me.

Type "Images" into Google and then it will give you the choice of a whole Google Image search bar you can bookmark?

I have/use Chrome as my browser and am very Google friendly so I don't have any problem with them and getting what I want.

There are several progs to download youtube videos but I'm using this one right now. That will dl the entire video or just the audio in mp3 audio format.

Thanks for these tips above. I have been able to access images by clicking on that word on the google first page. I too use chrome. I like the way it used to be better. Takes more time to get an image this new way. But I'll try your tip, Perna. I clicked on your link, George, and it looks too good to be true, but I know you wouldn't direct me toward anything bad. So I'll try that too.

No, I wouldn't. I use Firefox so I'm not sure that will work for you.
Thanks for this!
