I'm inviting myself to your place for cookies.....only cookies I've made this year are my persimmon cookies that I made with the wild persimmons I gathered & spend hours making pulp out of. Delicious but they took a lot of work getting to the point of making the cookies.

These really LOOK YUMMY!!!!! Thanks for sharing.....I LOVE Christmas cookies.

They look great! What kind of cookies are they?

I'm going to make gingerbread cookies for Christmas. I've prepared a dough two weeks ago, and it must rest for another two weeks, so I'm going to bake it in the middle of December. I'm praying the dough won't spoil.

Lintz cookies (covered in white chocolate; with mirabelle jam; lintz cups with orange buttercream (the flowers are homemade fondant) and griotte cookies.

They do look pretty nice, ... xD I've not made anything nice like that in YEARS, ... probably since I was a kid. --___-- Shame on me. I loved making flapjack at school.

Wow! I'd love some.

My first Christmas cookies (dough from scratch, rolled out, cookie cutter, sprinkles, the works) took hours and came out...hard . Could only eat them after dunking. What a let down they were. I had planned on giving out to neighbors but all went down the tube. It's not as easy as it looks!! Kudos to you.

some cookies take a while to soften. Depends how much butter the dough contains. They buttery ones are edible straigh away, so need some time to get good. we make ginger cookies, which have to be done by the end of november to be good at xmas time.
