Who has some ...?

My belly piercing fell out last week ... well the jewellery did ... Body piercing :>

So, today I went to the markets on my way home from brunch to acquire a new one. The guy at the piercing shop was soooo hot ... and we had a big convo about how long I'd had my belly done (since i was 15 - 14.5 years!) and he was all like you must have been such a rebel at the time ... and he knew exactly the place I'd had it pierced ... it was so funny :>

I have never been confident enough to get another piercing (I hate needles, I was drunk at the time I got my belly done, and I'd need to be pretty wasted to get something else).

So what do other people have? Share ... Body piercing :>

i used to have three cartliage piercings (upper ear), as well as 3 lobe piercings. 2 of my lobe piercings are stretched to 00g (about 10 mm). i definitely plan on getting more, possible an eyebrow or septum sometime in the future...

Have the navel pierced..................was tough (i was sober). So I'll stay with the tattoos anyday over piercings.

Other than that, 2 in one ear and three in the other..

I would love to have my nostril pierced, but I don't think it would go over very well with my teaching job, PLUS, I'm age 56, and think it would look kinda silly on me!

Patty, you're EXACTLY the kind of woman I'd cheer for getting a nose piercing. Teenagers and young adults do it all the time - it's completely mainstream by now. But at 56, I'd applaud every time I saw you! Body piercing :>

Did the piercing thing as a teenager - had 7 (in my ears - wanted nose but never got around to it). Doesn't interest me now. I'm more about tattoos, but only have one, and will probably stay with only one until I'm, perhaps, 50 then will get a celebratory tattoo. Don't want more just for the sake of having more at this point in my life - there needs to be a celebration behind it.

I have my ears pierced one each. I had them peirced again and made the mistake of drinking out of the student's water fountain and caught mono. My ears hadn't healed yet and they got infected. They were so bad I had to go to the Dr. That Dr. delivered me and his daughters were friends of mine. Dr. D. looked me straight in the eye and said, "You have enough holes in your head. Don't ever do that again!", and I've followed his advice ever since. Body piercing :> Body piercing :>

I've had 8 piercings in my ears, the only ones left are the lobes and one through the cartilage in the center of my ear. I had my tounge, eyebrow, nose and nipple pierced back in the day. I've always wanted a belly ring, but my belly aint pretty enough for a middriff shirt lol!

Drunksunflower,

A good friend of mine, who stays very tanned and fit, actually she is a personal trainer, has her belly button pierced. She has something that looks like a yellow diamond in her belly button. It is really quite pretty.

In general I hate body piercings. Typically, I feel like the person may have self-injury issues. Please anyone let me know if you disagree.

Drunksunflower, in your case it would seem that you have turned out just great. Look at you with your Ph.D., and successful career at such a young age.

You are your own women, and I personally don't think you need to make any more statements to prove that with any more body piercings. Body piercing :>

Hugs,

EJ

I just have my ear lobes done but when I can save up the money I'm going to do the cartilage at the top of my ear. I had it done once but when I was arrested a few years ago they made me take it when I got to jail and when I got out it had healed over and I haven't gotten around to getting it redone.
