If you watch it, what are your plans?

We're just gonna order a big pizza and have a little party.

I don't watch. I'm not into sports at all. When the Olympics are on, I'll watch some of those. What I want to know is: who's playing in the toilet bowl this year?
Thanks for this!

My wife told me that she once heard, on the radio, a man say he had timed the amount of actual playtime that occurs in a game. The typical game on TV lasts about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. During the game he timed, he said there were 11 minutes of actual play time!

Mrs. Webgoji will make her epic pizzas (one of them is made with mozzarella, pepperoni and alfredo sauce on a garlic baked crust OMG!). We'll get some sodas and chips and dip and maybe some adult beverages and then jump and yell and enjoy the game.

We love football as a family so the Superbowl is always fun. We don't have a horse in this race, but will be pulling for the Seahawks because we detest the Patriots.

Oh, and I'm personally praying for a wardrobe malfunction during half-time.

(Not really ... I don't want to have to explain that to my boys like I had to with my daughter when Janet Jackson had her issue. )

You know, I never really thought about that ... each play only lasts a few seconds. American football is an explosive start/stop kind of game. Great for those of us with attention issues who want chips all the time.

They average 133.6 plays per game total and the average play lasts ... lets see ... 4 seconds.

4X133.6 ... carry the 7 ... add pudding ...

8.9 minutes!

Well I'll be darned. Thanks The Skeezyks, I just learned something and I've been watching football for 40 years.

An average NFL game: more than 100 commercials and just 11 minutes of play ? Quartz

Lol, seems like my alma mater always plays in a toilet bowl every year. This year was the Alamo Bowl.

The what? Seriously, is that even shown on TV?

If the weather is good I plan on going to a party at a local restaurant with a singles' group.

I've actually been getting into football this year. For the Super Bowl, my husband and I will just be watching the game together at home.

Very true, but when I go off to the computer room during the frequent commercial breaks, I get chided for not turning off the TV or "not watching the game" (wasting electricity).
