Well, grew up with supper, but then later in my younger life it became tea, so I guess both feel like the evening meal for me.

Break the fast, lunch, supper if it's small and at home, or dinner if its in a restraunt or if it is larger and more formal.

I have traveled a bit, and this made me think about regional word differences and ingredients. Soda, pop, etc. And I never had a hamburger with mustard on it until 1985 (just graduated Navy boot camp (Great Lakes, IL)).

To answer your question, I call it dinner.

I call it dinner. I'm from New York and never heard of "Supper" until I moved south.

Dinner usually, but sometimes I call it supper. It really depends where you are in the country. It's similar to "Pop, Soda or Coke."

I use dinner and supper interchangeably. We moved between Northern and Southern state when I was a kid. I think it left me confused.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. I might very occasionally say "supper" instead of "dinner", but very rarely.

I thought tea was a late-afternoon, not evening, traditional? Although, when I was in Ireland it was dark by 4 p.m. so that was evening.

Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, supper. If you are posh you could even have afternoon tea. Bring out the earl grey , scones, cream and jam. Little sandwiches with the crusts cut off and a selection of cakes.

I live on an Island in the South Pacific.
Yesterday I called my evening meal George.
Today I will be calling it Arthur.
Thanks for this!

Please be aware that mealtime names have special significance in the British class system - we like to think that is all in the past, but I think not. What CLASS are YOU? Kate Fox's Watching The English has the answer | Daily Mail Online

I grew up calling "lunch" "dinner" and "dinner" "supper." But I now refer to them as "dinner" and "supper," unless with certain relatives.

Dinner and Tea are interchangeable. It's dinner if you want to be posh about it.
Thanks for this!
