Awhile ago my son got me into some of this Japanese Anime'
and this show's former theme, "Inner Universe" is my favourite, and the symbolism of the main female character very much reminds me of me at time. He makes cd's for me of all the music from these shows, Samurai Champlou (forgive my mispellings) has a lot of good tunes too. Wow, 50yo and I can enjoy this stuff? Heck, I don't even understand Japanese (would love to some day) but can feel the music.  Also have become addicted to KBS drama, Korean "soaps", but reading the sub titles can be tough when one's contac lens have been in for too many hours. Okay, maybe I am rambling, but wanted to share my "new" discovery. LOL!!! Thanks for reading my ramblings.

The more I listen to this song and then learned the translation to english, has made me love it more and confirm to myself, this is very much me, maybe in the past and perhaps, even now . . .

Okay, don't mean to be obnoxious, but has anyone else ever see or listen to music from "Ghost In The Shell?"
Or what Japanese Anime's do you like? Just rambling right now, but thanks for listening.

Due to being all very new to Japanese Anime, though my son watching, "Adult Swim" cartoon channel, and has "educated" me to the cartoons and the best for me, the music, I am ignorant to what you posted to my "post/reply" but I am very open to you updating me.
I just got through listening to his downloads of Ghost and Samurai Champlou's music themes and backgrounds, must confess a few drinks piqued my musical curiosity, and it's sounding good. LOL!! Funny and sad, cause my son is against smokers and drinkers, he won't even wear jeans, and yet I live in the freaking things. LOL!! I guess I shouldn't complain, that the kid is so conservative and intelligent . . . way beyond hubby and I. LOL!!!  Thanks for listening to this "way old" 50yo mom.

Cardcaptor Sakura is an anime (I like the japanese with english subtitles better) It's a kiddy show, but I still loved it ^_^
DN Angel... um... ^^;; well I haven't read the Manga, or watched it quite yet, but My friend talks about it all the time. so I've learned that i like it hehe

ghost in the shell is awesome movie... im hangin till i get some $$ to buy the stand alone game on psp...
manga is awesome... i remember my brother and i just watchin all manga movies when i was younger... glad ur having fun.. and dont worry my mom at 50 was still playin video games.. lol |

Cool!
My son was laughing when I told him that I was in a book shop, and saw a whole mini aisle with "Manga" as the title, and it was near the "cooking" section, soooooooooooo, I thought it was for Italian cook books, LOL!! Then I walked and looked closer to see something, not cook books!! LOL!! My son laughed, and said "leave it up to you", LOL!! Well, maybe someday I'll learn about that stuff. I enjoy watching KBS, I watch "Infamous Chill Sisters" on the weekends Korean (english subtitles) my eyes(contac lens)can dry out sometimes reading them, there is another one that's on Mon thru Fri that has replaced, "Pure of Heart", something that sounds like "Earth,Sun and Sky" ? Okay, now I've digressed, thanks for your replies.
